The end of the current Cost-Share program period is September 30, 2015. A certified operation may be reimbursed for up to 75 percent of their allowable certification costs, not to exceed $750 per category of certification.
Payments made between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015 are eligible for reimbursement in the current period. Deadlines for Application vary by state. Check with your state department of agriculture or your Customer Care Specialist at ICS for more information.
IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE ALREADY CERTIFIED, DO NOT WAIT FOR YOUR UPDATED CERTIFICATE TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION for the funds. Operators who are CONTINUING CERTIFICATION are eligible for reimbursement each year regardless of where you are in the renewal cycle.
New Applicants: you must receive your certificate before you are eligible for the reimbursement.
Please submit your application before the deadline!
Each year the cost-share program is calculated using the number of previous program participants. If you don't participate, you not only miss out for yourself, but you reduce future opportunity for others.
