In 1995, ICS' FVO program became the first certification program in the US to be accredited by the International Organic Accreditation Service (IOAS), the international organic accreditation program established by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM). ICS' FVO program is accredited to ISO 65.
Structure:
The FVO program is accredited by the IFOAM Accreditation Program, which is operated by the IOAS (International Organic Accreditation Services). Annual scrutiny by the accreditation program not only helps ICS to continually improve its FVO program, but it also provides our clients and their customers with another level of security in FVO's certification. It also gives the FVO name and seal enhanced international recognition. The FVO program is also accredited to ISO 65 to satisfy requirements for import into the European Union.
