USDA-NOP Organic Certification: This certification is based on the requirements set forth by the USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP). As per USDA requirements, certificates from USDA accredited certifiers will be accepted without the need for document reviews and/or certification transfers (contact the ICS office for details). International acceptance of the USDA-NOP will be based on government recognition. FVO Organic Certification: This certification meets the requirements set forth by the USDA’s National Organic Program and additional requirements of the international marketplace. The FVO Program is accredited by IFOAM and meets all requirements of ISO65. As per these requirements, document reviews and/or certification transfers are necessary for processors and/or suppliers who are not FVO certified. Bio Suisse Facilitation: Allows ease of access to Swiss market. EC 834/2007 Equivalency: subject to additional requirements; required by some importers Canadian Organic Regime Certification: This certification meets the criteria of the Canada Organic Production Systems General Principles and Management Standards and the Organic Production Systems Permitted Substance List.
